Revision
It is important that every test or examination is prepared for thoroughly and that you get the best score you can everytime you are assessed. This is best practice and will help breed the habit and prepare you for external examinations later in your school life - GCSEs and A-Levels.
Here are some tips:
* You are given at least a weeks advance notice of a test. Use that week to revise and do not just revise the night before.
* Read over notes at the end of every night/week to consolidate your learing and understanding of topics.
* Make sure your notes are always up to date. This is YOUR responsibility!
* Get a parent or friend to test you on your learning of key words and concepts.
* Set realistic targets and aim high and push yourself to achieve.
